12/18 Phone Call From Cara !!!!

We were able to talk to Cara today for about an hour while she was in the Miami, FL airport!! Woo HOO. It was so great. She sounded very good. I was nervous but after talking to Cara all is well. She had been up since 1:30 am to leave the MTC at 3:00 am and head to the SLC airport. She changed planes in Dallas and Tampa. Her flight from Miami will be 9 hours to Buenos Aires, Argentina. She will then take an 11 hour bus ride to Cordoba. She said she is sleeping well on the planes - thank goodness. She is traveling with 6 other missionaries going to Cordoba. I am glad she is not alone. Her Spanish is the best among them but she needs to learn the "Sh" sound better. She spoke of many experiences she had in the MTC - mostly about other missionaries, her teachers and asked about all of us. She is looking forward to getting to Argentina. It is supposed to be 100 degrees when they arrive. She was not excited about that. She loved the Utah weather and wished they had received a lot more snow. We are very blessed that we will get to talk to her next week on Christmas. Yeah. Merry Christmas Everyone. Thanks to everyone for your support of Cara. She has loved your e-mails and letters. Valarie
