Dear Family & Friends,
This week was a fun one! We had a lot of birthdays and as you all know I LOVE birthdays! I had to do surprise birthday parties otherwise it just doesn't work out. Yohana's birthday was on tuesday. She's 33. She was so excited and happy she started crying. It's the best when the person has no idea about the party, but it's even better when they've never had anything close to that thier whole lives and are so happy that they start crying. I'm pretty convinced Yohana's never had a fun day in her whole life and that was probably the nicest thing anybody has ever done for her. I love this woman so much. She loves the church and has such a strong testimony of it. Haha the other day when we were at her house, the Jehova's Witnesses came by and Cintia, her daughter, went to go talk to them. Yohana yelled from inside the house,"Cintia! Tell them we're not interested and that we're mormons!" haha she makes me laugh so hard. When Cintia came back in, she told us that she told them they were mormons and the guys talked to her anyway. She said they asked her why there are so many churches and how she knows she's in the right one and she said,"Well, one knows it's true by the peace they feel inside." Then they asked if they could leave a pamphlet and she said, "yeah you can, but we won't read it." Hahahaha I love them. Yohana told us on sunday that we should talk to Cintia about baptism. I'm really excited about that because Cintia and Yohana are really close and tell each other everything, so they had to have talked about it. Yohana has said from the beginning that she wants this for Cintia, but she doesn't want to push her and that if she gets baptized it has to be because she wants it. I'm so excited to talk to them tomorrow! WOO HOO!
